Who am I?

My name is Ambreen — aka 28mmSTREET. I’m a Copenhagen-based street photographer, management consultant, and creative, documenting the world through everyday scenes and honest moments. I’ve been immersed in the craft for over a decade.

As a female street photographer, I understand what it means to make space rather than take it — and that perspective shapes how I move, observe, and create.

Through my YouTube channel, I teach street photography from a self-taught photographer’s point of view, sharing the lessons, mistakes, and practical insights I’ve gathered along the way.

All your frequently asked questions  - answered

👉 What kind of street photography do you focus on?
Now I mostly focus on candid or “classic” street photography. I originally started with architecture photography, but was quickly drawn to high-contrast street photography — especially at night.

👉 What gear do you use and why?
For personal work, I use a mix of digital and film cameras. My Leica M6 and 28mm and 50mm lenses is my go-to for film. For more casual, everyday moments, I use the Fujifilm X100V.

👉  Where should I start if I’m new to street photography?

The 15min 1€ course focuses on foundational mindset shifts. The Street Photography Essentials mini-course is a more structured, 60-minute guide to help you build real-world street photography skills.

​👉What’s different about your blog vs. your YouTube channel?
My Youtube videos are crafted to serve a broader street photography audience but mostly beginner street photographers in mind. Here I often share my own experiences from being a self-taught street photographer for almost 1o years.
 

My blog dives into more niche topics and personal reflections — things I’m still working through or testing. It’s a slower, more thoughtful space compared to my YouTube videos.

NO. I’ve spent over 15 years working as a management consultant. Content creation and street photography are my passion — but they don’t pay the bills (yet).
